The Metro Edge Copy Trade analysis indicates a high level of risk: the platform does not disclose its legal operator or a verifiable licence, while its claimed track record is inconsistent with the domain’s age. Further questions arise from the incomplete legal documentation, the official Bank of Russia entry and direct links from the website’s pages to other trading projects.
How We Reviewed Metro Edge Copy Trade
As part of this review, we examined:
- the platform’s public pages, FAQ and legal-document links;
- whether those materials identify the operator, applicable law and withdrawal procedure;
- the domain record through ICANN Lookup and RDAP;
- the registers of BaFin, FCA, CySEC, AMF, CONSOB and FINMA;
- the Bank of Russia entry in which metroedgecopytd.com appears;
- the stated account, fee, withdrawal and verification conditions;
- the platform’s claims about regulation and operating history;
- the limited third-party feedback;
- links and content overlaps with Elite Copy Trading and CopyMarketPro-related pages.
We did not fund an account, so trade execution and payment processing were not assessed.

What Metro Edge Copy Trade Says About Itself
The platform describes itself as an international broker and copy-trading service.
On its About page, the company claims:
- to have been established in 2006;
- more than 350,000 traders;
- around 1,000 tradable instruments;
- paid-up capital exceeding $122 million;
- regulation in Europe, Australia, Japan, the BVI, UAE and South Africa;
- leverage of up to 500:1, spreads from 0.0 pips and execution in under 25 ms.
The homepage also refers to 50 million traders, operations in more than 40 countries and over 500,000 trades per day. Different pages refer to 100+ assets and approximately 1,000 instruments without explaining the calculation methodology.
| Claim | Verification Result | Status |
| Operating since 2006 | Domain registered in 2025; no previous address named | not confirmed |
| 350,000 and 50 million traders | No calculation methodology | marketing figures |
| Capital exceeding $122 million | No legal entity, financial statements or auditor | not confirmed |
| Regulation in six regions | No licensees, licence numbers or register links | cannot be verified |
The publication of these claims is confirmed, but the stated scale and quality of service are not. Without primary documents, large figures cannot be treated as evidence of stability or reliability.
Who Operates the Platform and Where Is Its Licence?
The website does not name the legal entity, registration number, verifiable address, regulator or licence number. Because a licence is granted to a legal entity, an unidentified operator makes it impossible to establish the contractual counterparty, permitted services or country of supervision.
The Terms of Use, Terms & Conditions and Risk Disclosure links all lead to the same Privacy Policy. It retains the “[Copy Trading Website]” placeholder and names neither the data controller nor the governing law. There is no full AML/KYC policy, execution policy or complaints procedure.
The claimed international regulation could not be verified: Metro Edge Copy Trade provides no details that would allow its licence to be checked. This does not prove that an affiliated organisation is unregistered, but it does not allow the platform to be treated as an authorised intermediary.
Metroedgecopytd.com Analysis: Domain and Website History
ICANN Lookup is ICANN’s official service, which shows a domain’s creation date, registrar, registration period, name servers and the available part of its contact data. The information was additionally checked through RDAP.
| Parameter | Value |
| Creation date | 29 July 2025 |
| Registrar | HOSTINGER operations, UAB |
| Registration term | through 29 July 2026 |
| Name servers | ns1.robotichosting.com, ns2.robotichosting.com |
| Registrant | contact details hidden by privacy protection |
The domain was registered almost nineteen years after the claimed establishment. Metro Edge Copy Trade may have changed its address or brand, but it does not disclose the previous domain or a legal succession. The website’s history does not confirm continuous operations since 2006.
A one-year registration and hidden contact details are not violations in themselves. But when the operator is unknown, the domain record cannot be linked to the company receiving the money.
Trading Conditions and Risks for EU Clients
The Metro Edge Copy Trade FAQ contains specific parameters, but it does not replace an agreement setting out the parties’ rights, grounds for account restrictions and a mandatory withdrawal procedure.
| Parameter | Stated Terms |
| Digital options | fixed outcome, profit up to 98% |
| Minimum deposit | $1,000 |
| Fees | 5% broker commission and 15% for copying an expert |
| Withdrawals | usually 1–5 days |
| Minimum withdrawal | $10; from $50 for cryptocurrencies |
| Identity verification | passport, selfie or proof of address; up to five business days |
| Leverage | up to 500:1 |
Spreads and swaps, margin-call and stop-out levels, negative balance protection, the execution model and client-fund segregation are not disclosed. It is unclear who receives the payment.
Digital options are described as a wager with a fixed payout or loss of the stake, making them economically similar to binary options. ESMA notes national restrictions on such products in the EU; CFD leverage is limited to a range from 30:1 to 2:1. The website gives no legal basis for offering 500:1 leverage and digital options.
ESMA guidance on copy trading treats automatic copying as potentially falling within the scope of investment services. To assess such a service, information about the operator, execution model and licence is required — none of this is disclosed by Metro Edge Copy Trade.
The additional 15% fee for copying an expert implies a clear service value. However, the platform does not disclose:
- who qualifies as an expert and how they are selected;
- whether published results are verified;
- the strategies’ return, drawdown and trading history;
- how risk is assessed and underperforming traders are removed.
Copy trading appears to be more of a nominal feature here: the customer pays an increased fee without seeing clear advantages over other copy-trading services.
Regulatory Warning and European Registers
We found no exact warning for the brand or domain in the BaFin, FCA, CySEC, AMF, CONSOB or FINMA registers. The absence of an entry does not confirm authorisation, especially when the operator is unknown.
At the same time, metroedgecopytd.com appears in the official Bank of Russia entry with the wording “signs of an illegal professional participant in the securities market”. The same entry lists qscopytd.com, marketcopypros.com, syncmarketpros.com and copify.pro.
The entry is dated 17 July 2025 and was updated on 23 December 2025. Because the domain was registered only on 29 July 2025, it cannot be asserted that this exact domain was added on 17 July 2025: the address may have been added during the update. Its presence in the current record is confirmed.
For an EU consumer, this is not the primary criterion; however, the editorial team could not overlook an official regulatory signal. It does not replace verification of a European licence.
Metro Edge Copy Trade Reviews and Reputation
Metro Edge Copy Trade reviews on Trustpilot consist of a single one-star publication; the 3.2 rating is based on a minimal sample. The author claims to have been unable to withdraw money and says that sensitive KYC data were requested before withdrawal. We cannot verify the person’s deposit or correspondence.
Reviews.io, Sitejabber, Reddit and Forex Peace Army have no substantive profiles. A search for “metroedgecopytd.com reviews” likewise produced no convincing independent trail. For a project claiming a history since 2006, this appears disproportionate.
The reviews published on the website are not independent: they have no dates or verifiable profiles, and one text retains an editorial instruction. A single external complaint cannot be extended to all clients, but the weak reputation footprint does not support the claimed scale of business.
Copy Sites and Similar Websites: Metro Edge Copy Trade and Elite Copy Trading
The Metro Edge Copy Trade analysis revealed two different types of connection. First, the FAQ retains the Elite Copy Trading header and footer, while login and registration lead to user.elitecopytd.com. Security of Funds sends visitors to app.copymarketpro.com, and the Privacy Policy contains support@copymarketpro.com. These are direct navigational and contact traces of other projects within the website.
Second, the active elitecopytrd.com is a separate domain that almost repeats the reviewed platform visually and in content.
One point of confusion should be noted: the FAQ link relates to elitecopytd.com, whereas the other traces indicate indirect connections to other projects.
| Comparison Item | Match |
| About-page design and structure | identical sequence of blocks, illustrations and metrics |
| History and scale | 2006, 350,000 traders, around 1,000 instruments and capital exceeding $122 million |
| Regulation and terms | same regulatory regions, 0.0 spreads, execution under 25 ms and leverage up to 500:1 |
| Website reviews | authors’ names and distinctive texts recur |
| Technical infrastructure | ns1.robotichosting.com and ns2.robotichosting.com are used; the analysis records a common IP |
The shared design could be explained by an off-the-shelf template. However, the repetition of exact promises, statistics, reviews and technical parameters confirms a template-based and technical relationship between the sites, without proving a common legal owner.

Editorial Conclusion
Metro Edge Copy Trade cannot be considered a transparent financial company based on its public profile. Its licence is not verified, its legal counterparty is unknown, and its claimed history, capital protection and scale of operations are unsupported by documents.
Our metroedgecopytd.com analysis points to a high risk of engaging with the platform. Until a verifiable operator name, a link to the licence, a full agreement and the payment recipient’s details are provided, we do not consider it reasonable to transfer money or submit a passport, selfie or other sensitive data. This conclusion is an assessment of cumulative risks, not an assertion of proven fraud.

I registered on Metro Edge but when I logged in it opened page with Elite Copy Trading name. Then security section sent me to another website. Support said its all one system and nothing to worry about, but never explained which company opened my account and who receive the money. Very strange situation, I will not use their service anymore.
I copied one trader because manager said he is experienced and have very stable results. First day there was small profit, then few digital option trades took almost half of my balance. I couldnt stop copying immediately and support answered only next day. They still charged expert fee, but never showed me his real statistics.
